Eddie Gilfoyle

Euan News

We were delighted to welcome Eddie Gilfoyle to the office yesterday (Wednesday). We haven’t seen Eddie in Glasgow in a while, and were as pleased to see him as we always are.

Eddie very kindly spent a good part of his visit talking to our student volunteers, whose developing insight into miscarriage of justice was hugely enhanced by hearing Eddie’s personal story.

We’d like to thank Eddie for taking the time, and making the effort, to engage with our students in this way. His contribution to our project is significant, and greatly appreciated by us all.

Now that the dust is beginning to settle on the passing of the long-in-the-making Victims, Witnesses and Justice Reform (Scotland) Bill, it is time to take stock of what this “landmark” exercise in law-making actually delivers.
