Nine years ago yesterday, we lost a tireless campaigner against injustice, a powerful witness to the corruption in our justice system, and an eloquent advocate for the innocent victims of that flawed system. More than that, we lost a friend, and a colleague, whose loss is keenly felt here at MOJO, as it is undoubtedly felt elsewhere.

Gerry, despite all that he suffered, had a unique charisma that had a profound effect on everyone he met. He will not be forgotten.

We send our love to Gerry’s family. May he rest in peace.
