Patrick Maguire on Social Sessions

Scott Jenkins News

Last week I was honoured to appear, for the second time, on Sean Toal’s Social Sessions Podcast, to support my dear friend, colleague and client, Patrick Maguire.

Despite knowing it so well, his story is harrowing and it moved both Sean and me to tears.

Please do listen to the podcast to hear the first-hand testimony of someone whose life was turned upside down by the most appalling abuses of power in British judicial history.

The podcast can be found HERE.

Patrick’s book, “My Father’s Watch” can be purchased HERE.

For updates on where you might find Patrick showcasing and selling some of his artwork, follow roguesgallery2024 on Instagram.  Rogues Gallery are a group of long-term former prisoners, all of whom, like Patrick, have turned their life around through art and exhibit their work at pop-up galleries around London.

Excessive use of charging powers observed in joint enterprise trials, say researchers

From The Guardian online, today, we reproduce the striking findings of research undertaken by our London colleagues, Appeal, into the use of the “joint enterprise” doctrine by prosecutors in England and Wales.
