Hallam Compensation
Sam Hallam, whose conviction for murder was overturned in May 2012, has had his claim for compensation turned down, because of changes to the law made by former Conservative Justice Secretary, Chris Grayling. Hallam, who was a teenager when he had his freedom stolen from him, is another victim of a state system which accepts no responsibility for the crimes it commits against the innocent.
