Jobstown Trial Begins

Euan Uncategorized

Here is a photo of Joan Burton the former tánaist (Deputy Prime Minister) of Ireland, who claims that she was put into a state of fear and alarm during a peaceful protest by the people of Jobstown against the implementation of water charges. This lead to 17 people being charged with false Imprisonment. This picture shows that this claim by the the Irish State is false. Shame on them equating someone being sat on her phone in a car for a couple of hours with False Imprisonment, when thousands of innocent people are sat behind prison cell doors.

Today we found out 50, that is 2/3 of the witnesses called, will be Gardaí! If these 50 were there and saw a kidnapping why didn’t they do something?

What a shocking claim to make given the devastation caused to Innocent people who are wrongfully imprisoned. What is her or her parties record on providing support to miscarriage of justice victims in Ireland? Given that there are no services provided by the state to MOJ victims.
