Hi MOJO,
I’m a writer and podcaster, and have just finished making a series called Regrets of the Dying; with the second episode set for release this Wednesday June 14 (GMT).

Recorded on location in Florida State Prison, it’s about Mike Lambrix who was convicted of double-murder in 1984 and has been on death row ever since, enduring three last minute stays of execution. He talks about his life, his regrets and what really happened on that late night in Glades County.
As one of the longest inmates of death row in America it really illustrates how lack of resources can trap you in a wrongful conviction. The series has gotten over 5,000 listens since the first ep was released less than a week ago: I was wondering if your social media followers might find some value in it, too?

Best wishes, and many thanks for your time.
Gina Scull

Victims of miscarriages of justice receiving no compensation under “outrageous” system

The Telegraph of 11 September carried a shocking story exposing the failure of the criminal justice system in England and Wales to compensate victims of miscarriage of justice. The system in Scotland is scarcely better. Although the tests applied in Scotland are marginally less restrictive, both systems are founded in a piece of legislation, section […]
