RIP Steven Johnston

Euan Uncategorized

It is with great sadness we have to report the untimely death in August of Steven Johnston. Everyone at MOJO is deeply saddened by Steve’s passing. We extend our deepest condolences to Steven’s daughter, Stacey, and his other family, for their loss.
Steven was wrongfully convicted of murder. He spent 10 years in jail along with Billy Alison, after being fitted up by Fife Police. Detective Inspector Richard Munro was sent to prison for his part in the fit up. Steven fought long and hard for his freedom, but lost his battle to free himself from the devastation and trauma he suffered as a result of his wrongful imprisonment.
Steven died another victim of our society’s indifference to the suffering of those who are wrongfully imprisoned when innocent. We hope he is the last to die an early death, but we doubt it.
RIP Steven Johnston.xxxx
