The Reputation of Innocence Projects

Euan Uncategorized

What needs to be remembered is that Innocence Projects are under resourced. What does it say about our system of justice that people are forced to rely on students to look at their cases or, for that matter, come to organisations like ours, who are severely hampered by the lack of resources available to fight cases. The state has overwhelmingly more finance available in order to achieve convictions and to maintain wrongful convictions. The pursuit of justice should be a level playing field.
